Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Rebuilding of St. Albans City Station

To mark the 50th Anniversary of the rebuilding of St. Albans City station a replica nameplate mounted above a hugely enlarged version of my illustration of LMS Princess Coronation Class No. 6253 City of St. Albans in 1947 condition has been put up in the foyer of St. Albans City station.

On the anniversary date (15th May 2023) a ceremony was carried out involving the unveiling of the display and the presentation of framed copies of my Limited Edition print of No. 6253 City of St. Albans to the people taking part – see pictures below. Also a PDF of the event from Rail Business Daily can be viewed here.

The print can be viewed and purchased here.
