The B4 still continues to give sterling service, although with the boiler ticket due to expire in July 2006 the railway will have to decide what priority to give to this important locomotive's overhaul!

With completion of the crosshead work, Normandy has been as busy as ever, but is showing signs of wear and tear. The brake blocks are getting thin and will have to be replaced in the near future and the inner firebox door plate is starting to give concern and will be carefully watched in the future.
